The Plan
It takes time to learn a new application and adoption will only occur when the tipping point is reached. The goal is to reach that tipping point as soon as possible so that widespread adoption by instructors and students can occur. To achieve a critical mass quickly, the deployment teams will be operating at a grassroots level in each college and school. Capable individuals - faculty and staff - will be asked to take leadership and coordination roles in the transition process so that every program in the institution that wants to participate will have the support they need. Training will be provided for these early adopters.
Current Progress
The positive energy generated in the LMS Selection process has carried forward into Project IDEAL. Many individuals have already volunteered to represent the interest of their colleges and departments and are signing up for training so they can be prepared to assist their colleagues.
